About Our Club

The Armidale Bushwalking Club has been established for over twenty-five years, offering considerable variation in types of bush walks in the beautiful New England region and beyond. 

The members range in age from teens to eighties, with a wide experience and knowledge regarding many aspects of being outside, in the bush, enjoying the fascinating array of flora/fauna that Australia offers.

The Club welcomes all walkers who wish to explore the natural environment, and walk with like-minded people, to extend their knowledge and confidence while participating in day walks to multi-day adventures, regardless of their level of experience.

Current members benefit from the vast experience and hard work of our founding club leaders - David, Colin, Paul, Joc and Peter.
