[Stay Safe]
Safety is everybody's business
While bushwalking is usually a safe activity, there are many inherent risks. Hazards range from the weather turning nasty, running out of water, falling over and getting injured, to close encounters with Aussie critters. Your walk leader will offer advice to keep you and others safe, but it's everyone's business to behave in a safe and thoughtful way.
Bushwalking NSW's website has a comprehensive guide to safety while bushwalking.
